While reading listen to:
It is simple. A chemical reaction of two molecules in the body, creating an atomic explosion in your brain. Such, that all reasons, all focus, all cognitive operations suddenly malfunction. The system is ruptured, the breaks are off.
Simple, but madly effective.
Having those connections present in daily life is heaven on earth. For me, they are the simplest everyday things creating momentarily pleasure. They make me feel the spark in the body, grounding me in the present moment and somehow act as a shield for negative thoughts, trying to slip their way into the consciousness when I feel particularly exhausted.
Creating them....a completely different scenario quickly flooded by everyday obligations.
And on days like this, when exhaustion takes over the body and a break from daily obligations seems like the healthiest and the most over-due decision you made, I am in desperate need of my connections, my sparks... MY FAVORITES.
A day just to relax and let myself breathe. Allowing the body to dictate the daily schedule and finally enable the mind to fly freely among the clouds. Tiny sparks I keep hidden for times when I need to let my body feel alive again. As a dreamer at heart, these moments are a paradise;
A lazy morning, with a lot of slow music so my body can wake at its own pace. My beloved and most cherished playlists that I make when I am bored. A coffee. Sitting in the sun for just a little while longer. A stretch for a sore body. Staring at the stars and counting the crossing planes above the house. A late-night drive. Freshly made lemonade with mint, raspberries, ice and chia seeds. A laugh with a friend. A bonfire, with seemingly unfamiliar people, that in a span of three hours became friends. A late-night book reading that turns into a laughing session. Dark chocolate. Lavender mixed in lemon tea. A breath of cold air. A funny Tik Tok. New creative idea. Laying in the bed and imagining scenarios. A toast with pumpkin seed oil, tomato, basil, cheese and chili. A late-night swim. Listening to poetry, read by your favourite voice. A bike ride to a neighbourhood coastal town. Watching people and imagining what their lives are like. Finishing the to watch list. Finding new songs.

They are the connection, a chemical reaction, connecting me to my inner self. A reminder to bring my wandering mind into reality and live in the moment. A simple way to make my journey more exciting and forever a wish, that life never loses its adventures spark.
